Sydney is one of the financial capitals of the world, and it looks like one. Everyone talks about how ridiculously expensive real estate is, and how no one can afford to live here anymore -- the same talk that goes on daily in New York and London.
This is the skyline from the ferry to Manly Beach (this picture was taken from inside the harbor, which gives you some idea how enormous it is.)
