I am a native in this world And think in it as a native thinks

Skye
I'd seen pictures of course, and that's why I was so eager to visit, but nothing can really prepare you for the strange, almost other-worldly beauty of Skye.
We stayed in Plockton, a charming village just on the other side of the bridge to the island, and as we drove over the bridge this morning, our wonderful guide, Ewan, played the Skye Boat Song (the original version about Bonnie Prince Charlie, not the Robert Louis Stevenson version.)
Speed, bonnie boat, like a bird on the wing,
Onward! the sailors cry;
Carry the lad that's born to be King
Over the sea to Skye.
A perfect moment in a perfect day.
