Morning in Edinburgh



Despite the restoration of twelve hours sleep and that unmistakable castle -- visible from my hotel room window -- there was something about waking to the second clear sunny day in a row that seemed distinctly un-Scottish.

But there was haggis at the breakfast buffet, and since no other nationality that I'm aware of has turned oatmeal cooked in a sheep's stomach into a delicacy, I figured this must be Scotland after all.

And it's actually quite delicious.
