Ra II

This is the Ra II, the other ridiculously small raft that Heyerdahl sailed across an ocean -- in this case the Atlantic.

Again, it's hard to give a sense of scale -- although you can see someone in the background looking at the exhibits, so you can judge that the hut isn't much taller than the men who slept there -- but I think that out in the middle of an ocean it would have felt even smaller than it actually is.
