Hvitträsk
I'm interested in Finnish design, so I signed up for an architecture tour. First stop was Hvitträsk, where Eliel Saarinen and Herman Gesellius built a mini-colony in 1902 and fell in love with each other's wives and sisters in between designing much of Helsinki, and where Eero Saarinen was born and spent his childhood. It's now a museum/arts center.
Our guide was also named Eero, although I noticed he kept his ID badge in his pocket, so I couldn't help wondering if he was only called Eero when he was leading tourists through the Saarinen home.
