This is Kerið, a volcanic crater we visited at the end of the first day. (It's sometimes anglicized as Kerid and sometimes Kerith, so it's easier to just use the Icelandic name.)
The volcanic soil is red here, for some reason, rather than the usual black, so it makes a beautiful contrast with the opaque aquamarine of the water.
