Humpback whales near St. Anthony.
We got very lucky today on our whale-watching excursion. Not only did we actually see several whales, but we had warm, sunny weather, so just being out on the water was wonderful. We had a boat cruise in Gros Morne National Park a few days ago, and it was so cold and windy I had to abandon the top deck and watch the scenery from inside the cabin. Today I was actually removing layers because I was too hot.
Plus, there were whales!
