Urban poetry



Nothing funny or quirky about this, but I do love the lamplight, and the shape of the tree against the windows.

It reminds me of this Langston Hughes lyric.

     Rest at pale evening...
     A tall, slim tree...
     Night coming tenderly
     Black like me.
