Here's another look at the Dumbell Nebula, number 27 on Monsieur Messier's list of things that are not comets.
This was taken by the Subaru Telescope, one of the many in the prime viewing location atop Mauna Kea in Hawaii. The Subaru is operated by the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan.
