I was supposed to fly to Tampa on Saturday, to take a short, highly discounted, cruise to Cozumel, but my flight was cancelled Friday due to the major snowstorm set to arrive that night. Which turned south at the last minute and left us without so much as a millimeter of snow on the ground.
Fortunately, missing my cruise meant that I didn't miss the ten inches or so of snow we got yesterday. Who would want to be sitting on a sunny stateroom balcony in the Caribbean when they could be wading through freezing slush in New York?
