Dust

It was hot and dusty the day we drove from Kerman to Yazd, but during the first couple of hours of the drive to Shiraz, the dust -- which blows in from Iraq -- was so thick we could barely see anything except flat rocky desert on either side of the car, with occasional glimpses of the mountains.
