The main exhibit was on innovative materials, from crayons made out of soybeans rather than petroleum, to protective "leather" that's soft and flexible most of the time, but whose molecules compress into a hard shell on impact if there's an accident.
This denim actually acts as an air purifier. It's coated with a thin layer of titanium dioxide, that works with sunlight to remove pollutants from the air, and break them down into less harmful chemicals that come off when the jeans are washed.
