The Lion and the Little Red Bird

We'd all brought school supplies for the two schools we'd be visiting on this trip.

Along with crayons and pencils, I bought two copies of my friend Elisa Kleven's book The Lion and the Little Red Bird, which seemed like an appropriate choice for Africa.
